Position:  Registered Engineer with Saudi Arabia Experience

Job Description:
As a fully competent Engineer, with experience in roadway, infrastructure and site design in Saudi Arabia. This position performs work involving the application of all conventional aspects of the subject matter of the functional area of the assignment. Exercises judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design approach for a major phase of a large project, or have overall responsibility for the engineering work on a project of limited scope. Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates engineering work involving conventional engineering practices but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements. This position may work as an Assistant Project Manager or Assistant Project Engineer. Supervision of less experienced engineers or technical support personnel is exercised on an assignment basis and is not an on-going substantial component at this level. QUALIFICATIONS: Registration as a Licensed Professional Engineer or has made application and is awaiting Registration. International design/construction experience in the Middle East required / willing to travel occasionally.

This position requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a license in the State of Texas to practice engineering. Qualifications are a minimum of 5 years experience in the field of Public Works showing increasing responsibility in the design and preparation of construction plans and contract documents for public work projects including water, wastewater, paving and drainage facilities. Design experience for water and wastewater plants is a must. Job Description:
LJA is seeking an entry level engineering CAD technician for Transportation projects. CAD Tech wil perform technical drafting support for highway, drainage, or traffic projects. Some working knowledge of engineering technology on transportation projects is helpful. CAD technician will perform work as assigned from sketches, verbal instructions and notes; will establish and maintain schedules and offer progress reports; must maintain current knowledge of design and drafting procedures in transportation design. Qualifications: Candidate should have knowledge of MicroStation and technical knowledge of CAD operations and engineering graphics.

Job Description:
This position should have 4 to 6 years experience. Must have demonstrated skills in conceptual design, construction documentation, project management and possess good design, graphic and communication skills. Applicants should demonostrate resourcefulness, good judgment, and have working knowledge of land planning and urban design principles. Understanding of the LEED process required with a certification a plus.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Competence in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch-Up or Revit is preferred. Registered professional in Texas is desired.
