LJA Engineering & Surveying, Inc. is a multi-discipline, consulting engineering firm, serving both the public and private sectors. With offices in Houston, Austin, San Antonio and The Woodlands, Texas, the staff of LJA includes over 325 experienced civil and transportation engineers, hydrologists, land planners, landscape architects, construction managers, designers, technicians and surveyors.

With a 35-year history of providing professional engineering, planning and surveying services, LJA continues its focus and dedication to provide high quality infrastructure design services for its clients. Current assignments include some of Texas' largest master-planned communities, regional and local flood control projects, urban and rural highway, bridge and roadway projects, major water and wastewater facility design as well as numerous land planning, landscape architecture, construction management and surveying projects.

Employee owned and operated, the LJA staff is highly motivated and committed to providing responsive, quality engineering services. LJA is managed by the firm's Board of Directors and 10-member Advisory Committee. The Board of Directors, which consists of Calvin Ladner, PE, Jim Moehlman, PE, and Jeff Collins, PE, has experience managing and directing some of the largest infrastructure projects in the State of Texas. These include some of the most prestigious master-planned communities, regional and area-wide flood control projects, and major transportation planning and improvements projects.
