Diversity in Houston's Land Development Projects

The greater Houston area is known for its large, master-planned communities such as First Colony, The Woodlands and Sienna Plantation. However, there is another type of land development in Houston which actually accounts for the majority of new lots currently being developed. These are the more specialized developments and subdivisions. These developments can be a few acres or as large as several hundred. Many feature the same amenity packages as the master-planned developments, including lakes, hike and bike trails, greenbelts, golf courses and recreation centers. Located throughout the greater Houston area, these subdivisions provide the diversity today's homebuyers seek.
