LJA Provides Infrastructure Design to Houston's Northeast

LJA Engineering & Surveying is providing engineering, platting and surveying services to assist developer Nagron U.S.A., Inc. and Natex Corporation with the ongoing development of Kings Manor Municipal Utility District, a 318-acre mixed-use community located just east of Highway 59 and north of Kingwood Drive.

Currently under construction is Kings Manor Section 4, a 10-acre, 51-lot subdivision scheduled for completion in June 1998. Included is Kings Manor Drive North and offsite utilities designed to provide access and utility services to "The Equinox", a new 320-unit apartment complex. Also planned for construction is a water and wastewater plant expansion scheduled to begin this summer.

LJA is presently designing the water, sanitary and drainage systems for Sections 5, 6, 7 and 8. These sections total approximately 30 acres and 117 lots.

Approximately 100 acres of the Kings Manor Municipal Utility District have been developed to date, with final plans pending market research.

According to Jose Teran of Nagron U.S.A., "The present economic environment, with very low interest rates, full employment and no inflation, is accelerating the use of lots to satisfy the demand of homebuyers in well located, well developed projects like Kings Manor."
