Kings Manor takes shape

LJA continues to provide engineering, platting and surveying services for the development of Kings Manor Municipal Utility District, a 318-acre mixed-use community located in northeast Houston.

With Section Four complete and home-building underway, three more sections of the property are currently under development. Over the next few months, water, sanitary and drainage facilities will be completed in these three sections, bringing the amount of developed property up to more than 100 acres.

With homes priced from $85,000 - $125,000, Kings Manor is targeted primarily for first-time home buyers. The community features a centrally-located club house with a community pool and playground.

In 1998, KM Partners, Inc. became the primary developer of Kings Manor, and a partner with previous owners Nagron USA, Inc. Citing the success of the 320-unit apartment complex opened last summer, Timm Wooten, executive vice president, KM Partners, emphasizes the favorable location and pricing of the property. "The need for affordable housing in a quality environment directly ties into the offerings of Kings Manor. We're enthused by brisk sales to date."
