Mr. Johnson has over 45 years of experience as a surface water hydrologist with particular emphasis in urban hydrology. He has managed and actively participated in numerous special investigations pertaining to floodplain analysis and surface water hydrology, urban runoff, tidal hydraulics of estuaries, seepage investigations, sedimentation studies, point and non-point water quality studies, wetlands investigation, and the design of channels and reservoirs.
His experience includes working for over 18 years with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) as a hydraulic engineer. He has also obtained considerable experience in municipal engineering while serving as project manager for numerous municipal utility districts and land development projects. Mr. Johnson has been directly involved in master drainage planning and stormwater management planning in major cities in southeast Texas.
