Ms. Bonnie C. Moss, PE has joined LJA Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (LJA) as Senior Project Manager in the firm's Houston Transportation Division.
Bonnie has over seven years of experience in civil engineering including developing traffic control plans, traffic signal plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) packages, right of way feasibility reports, final schematic plans, preliminary traffic reports and detailed PS&E for on- and off-system bridges. Bonnie's experience includes inspecting prestressed concrete beams and bridge decks for TxDOT. She has also completed utility layout sheets, construction quantity sheets, preliminary quantity estimates and preliminary construction cost estimates; and developed signal layouts, cross sections, phasing and wiring diagrams and prepared construction packages. She has served as a Project Manager on a number of projects including four Border Safety Inspection Facilities all along the Texas/Mexico border, Westpark Toll Road, Beltway 8 East, and Mason Road/Cypresswood Drive Traffic Signalization. As Senior Project Manager, Bonnie's primary responsibility at LJA will include traffic related projects as well as providing PS&E support.
A licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, Bonnie is a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. She is active in several professional organizations including the ASCE, TSPE, Texas Institute of Transportation Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, and the Womens Transportation Seminar.
