Mr. Roland Gamble, P.E. has joined LJA Engineering & Surveying, Inc. as a Senior Consultant in the firm's Transportation Division. Roland has more than 45 years of experience in the engineering and management of transportation projects. He worked for TxDOT's Austin District for more than 30 years where he held positions in transportation planning, geometric design and project administration. In 1991 he was TxDOT's liaison with the Texas Congressional Delegation during the development of the Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act's legislation. In 1992 and 1993, he directed TxDOT's Division of Environmental Affairs, responsible for the coordination, planning and oversight of environmental activities.

A licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, Roland is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
