Ms. Jessica Koutny, PE, CFM, has joined LJA Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (LJA) as a Project Manager in the firm's Water Resources Division.
Jessica Koutny, PE, CFM, has joined LJA Engineering & Surveying, Inc. (LJA) as a Project Manager in the firm's Water Resources Division. Jessica has more than eight years of environmental and civil engineering project experience. Her experience includes hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for transportation projects from alternative analysis, to schematic design to preparation of PS&E. She has developed stormwater pollution prevention plans as well as evaluation and design of detention structures and outlet works. Her environmental experience includes the design and analysis of wetland, environmental remediation, development of a monitoring protocol for a stormwater best management practices (BMP) monitoring program and numerous coastal projects for complicated erosion/sediment transport projects for industrial clients.
Jessica has completed numerous drainage projects including SH 332 Roadway Expansion and Brazos River Bridge Replacement, Two-Dimensional Hydrodynamic and Sediment Transport Modeling of Dredged Disposal Materials near Sabine Pass, M125-00-00 Channel Improvements and Detention Basin, and FM 1489 Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeling Bridge Replacement over Bessies Creek. As project manager, Jessica will continue providing drainage analysis and design for transportation and municipal projects.
Jessica is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor and Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering.
