Mr. Gary W. Mensik, PE, has been promoted to Vice President of LJA's Houston Land Development Division.

Gary has been with LJA for 25 years and has considerable experience in the design of water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, storm drainage, paving, detention ponds, drainage channels and trunk utility facilities to serve numerous subdivisions located within different Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) and master-planned communities in Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Brazoria and Galveston Counties.

Gary has served as Senior Project Manager in the firm's Houston Land Development Division and has been involved in the platting, master planning of utilities, design and construction administration of numerous land development and MUD projects. He has also prepared numerous special MUD engineering reports including feasibility studies, annexations, creation reports, bond applications and surplus funds applications.

A Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, Gary is a graduate of the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
