Mr. Rusk has over 15 years of experience in civil engineering for land development projects. His experience includes analysis, design, and construction of water distribution, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and paving facilities for a range of projects including single family residential and commercial/retail developments, as well as drainage and levee projects. Additionally, he coordinates work with municipal utility districts, levee improvement districts, private utility companies, and various city, county, and state agencies. Michael currently serves as the District Engineer for a number of Districts including the Sienna Plantation Levee Improvement District, Sienna Plantation Municipal Utility Districts 2 through 7, Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District No. 11, and Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 131. Michael is currently involved with the 3,500-acre Hillwood Residential Development located in Missouri City, as well as the 1,350-acre Tamarron Lakes project located in Fulshear.
Michael, who has been with LJA for 13 years, directs a team of engineers, designers, and technicians in the planning, design and construction of major land developments in Houston and its surrounding areas, as well as managing project development and working closely with clients and governmental agencies.
