James has been with LJA for over 18 years and has provided engineering leadership for large master-planned communities and numerous subdivisions and Municipal Utility Districts in the Houston area including the 7,000 acre Sienna Plantation development, the Skye Ranch development, Lexington Place, Deer Creek Village, Parkway Trails and the Olympia Commerce development.
James currently supervises engineering operations for the Sienna Plantation and Skye Ranch developments. He also serves as the District Engineer for five Municipal Utility Districts that are a key component of these communities and works closely with regulatory and governmental agencies. James has over 23 years of engineering experience for major land development projects in Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery counties. His responsibilities have included the design of water, sanitary sewer and storm drainage facilities as well as paving, detention pond, drainage channel and trunk utility facilities for residential and commercial projects.
James has also been integrally involved with management decisions that relate directly to the success of these projects.
