Steve Phy is an urban planner and landscape architect with more than 30 years of extensive design experience in providing innovative design solutions for a diverse range of projects both nationally as well as internationally. Much of his expertise has focused on Livable Community Design with an emphasis on connectivity approaches to open space elements and recreational opportunities. His keen understanding of context-sensitive design is evident in design solutions that yield the desired development program that balances design components with the natural elements of each site. Key projects include landscape architecture and site development for the George R. Brown Convention Center, the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, and Herman Brown Park; planning and landscape design of Yanbu and Jubail, Saudi Arabia, both "new towns"; and numerous land planning and landscape architecture assignments in The Woodlands.
